The Latvian Literature platform is announcing this year’s THIRD open call for foreign publishers and SECOND open call for translators offering an opportunity to receive a grant for publishing, promoting and translating Latvian literature abroad.
We invite individuals/translators and legal persons/publishers who have experience working with Latvian authors or have interest in publishing or translating Latvian literature to take part in the grant competition.
The deadline for applications is August 29th, 2019 (23:59 East European time). Only online submissions are accepted. Please read the rules of the competition and submit your project applications HERE.
NB! Please note that there are two different sections: “FOR PUBLISHERS” and “FOR TRANSLATORS”.
The submitted projects will be evaluated by a jury of experts. The projects receiving financial support will be announced after September 15th, 2019.
This is the last competition of the year 2019.
